1. Introduction & Agreement Overview

These Terms of Service define the contractual terms between SellInstant and individuals or corporate entities selling pre-owned electronics. By accessing our platform, calculating a price valuation, or scheduling a doorstep inspection, you accept these operational terms in full.

2. Scope of Services

SellInstant operates a direct electronics buyback service including:

• Algorithmic condition appraisal and real-time fair market valuations
• Complimentary doorstep pickup services across our designated service zones
• On-site hardware diagnostics conducted by verified technicians
• Immediate payment settlement via UPI or IMPS bank transfer prior to device handover
• Generation of an official digital Bill of Sale recording serial and IMEI identifiers

3. Price Valuations and 7-Day Guarantee

3.1 Online Price Calculation

Quotes generated on our website are calculated using deterministic condition parameters entered by the seller. These valuations remain valid and price-locked for seven calendar days from the timestamp of generation.

3.2 On-Site Verification and Discrepancies

Our field technician inspects the hardware in plain sight to verify that physical screen integrity, battery capacity, camera functions, and body cosmetics match the questionnaire answers. If the physical condition matches your submission, you receive 100 percent of the quoted price. If discrepancies are discovered (such as unstated screen lines, camera spots, or missing functions), our technician presents a recalculated valuation based on the standardized matrix. You retain full freedom to accept the revised amount or cancel the pickup with zero cancellation fee.

4. Seller Ownership Warranty and Anti-Theft Compliance

By offering a device for sale, you warrant and confirm that:

• You are the lawful owner of the device or have explicit written authority from the registered owner to complete the sale
• The device is entirely free from third-party financial encumbrances, active carrier installment plans, or unpaid EMI defaults
• The device has not been reported lost, stolen, or involved in any criminal activity
• You will present a valid government-issued photo identification card (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID) during on-site verification for statutory compliance

5. Data Sanitization & Seller Responsibility

Before handing over any smartphone, tablet, laptop, or console:

• You are solely responsible for creating complete personal backups of photographs, documents, and messages
• You must remove all active account locks, including Apple iCloud, Find My, Google FRP, and manufacturer security profiles
• You must eject and retain all physical SIM cards, eSIM profiles, and MicroSD expansion memory cards
• Our technician assists with a final cryptographic factory reset on-site, after which device data is irreversibly wiped and cannot be recovered

6. Title Transfer & Indemnity

Full legal title, ownership, and risk of the device transfer permanently to SellInstant once on-site payment has cleared into your bank or UPI account and the digital Bill of Sale is issued. In turn, SellInstant legally indemnifies the seller against any subsequent ownership liabilities associated with the device.

7. Doorstep Pickup Cancellation Rights

You may reschedule or cancel your doorstep appointment at any point prior to physical inspection without incurring any penalty or charge. SellInstant similarly reserves the right to decline or cancel a transaction if a device shows signs of tampering, counterfeit parts, or activation security lock bypasses.

8. Limitation of Liability

SellInstant liability in connection with any completed transaction is strictly capped at the final purchase valuation agreed and disbursed for that specific device. We are not liable for incidental data loss resulting from factory resets executed with your consent.
